Historical Recordings

In the 1970’s a fascinating long-playing record came out called “Yesterday’s Voices”, containing clips of preachers of a former generation like D.L. Moody, William Booth and Harry Ironside. It even included a clip, from 1899, of Ira Sankey singing “God be with you till we meet again”!

The 20th century was blessed with many gifted preachers many of whom, sadly, left little by way of written ministry. However, with many audio recordings thankfully still available, we have pulled a number together to enable a new generation to get the benefit of ministry from former times. We have also included a few recordings from preachers who are still with us, which are historic, if not historical!
