“Salvator Mundi”, and “Heaven or Hell?” (48 min)

GOSPEL TENT 2019 – John Fleck preaches from John 4, and in particular v42, on Christ as “the Saviour of the world”, a title used by Leonardo da Vinci in 1500AD for one of his famous paintings. Andrew Steele follows with a contrast between heaven and hell, the two destinies that lie before every one of us. “Rest” and “Unexpected Happenings” (45 min)

GOSPEL TENT 2019 – John Fleck preaches on the topic of “rest”. The Requirement, Expense, Simplicity and Time of rest, from Isa 57:20-21, Matt 11:28, Heb 3:3 and Rev 14:9-11. Andrew Steele follows with a look at three “unexpected happenings”: someone privileged who perished; Someone perfect but pierced, and someone poor but pardoned. What we need to be saved from, why we need to be saved and how we can be saved. Andrew Steele follows with a message on “the gift of God” from Romans 6:23. The opposite of the gift, the origin of the gift and the offer of the gift (Messages preached 22nd June 2019)

Exposition of 2 Timothy Ch 4 (47 min)

Dan Rudge expounds the last chapter of 2nd Timothy in 4 divisions: v1-5 – the Charge of the Apostle, v6-8 – the Course of the Athlete, v9-18 – the Concern of the Prisoner, and v19-22 – the Companions of the Servant. Dan emphasises the command to Timothy to “preach the word” and highlights the various reasons why Paul gives him this solemn charge – made all the more significant and striking in that this chapter forms the very last written…

Daniel’s Prayer of Confession (44 min)

PART 5 – Jonathan Black draws numerous practical lessons out of Daniel’s prayer of confession from Daniel Ch 9 which was answered in the well-known and pivotal prophecy of “Daniel’s 70 weeks”. Jonathan outlines the chapter under four headings: the Man of Prayer, the Motive for Prayer, the Manner of his prayer, and the Message of Daniel’s prayer (Message preached 2nd June 2019)
